Collection: Kyocera Ceramic Knives, Tools, and Cookware
It was Christmas Day, 20 years ago. Robert gave me a Kyocera ceramic chef knife as a gift. I was skeptical of its lightness. I was used to a heavy Japanese cleaver. I have often said that by the time I had cooked Christmas dinner I would have slept with my new Kyocera if I could!
I have been in a monogamous love affair with my ceramic knives ever since and have 6 different ones, including their bread knife in my kitchen.
I find the knives to light and agile, allowing me to work efficiently and quickly, creating the finest cuts of my culinary career.
Now for the technical stuff. Kyocera's award-winning knives are hand-crafted by expert artisans in Seki, Japan. The chef's blade is made from Kyocera's very own proprietary zirconia material or pure ceramic material produced in Japan for exceptional quality and beauty. They are as gorgeous as they are functional.
After I fell for the knives, I took a look at other products available for my kitchen life. From their extensive catalog, I have curated a list of products to offer you. I have each and every one of them in my kitchen. I hope you love them as much as I do.
